When we receive enquiries the clients always have lots of questions - so here are a few answers to the more common ones. If you want to find out more, just contact us!
I find it really difficult to relax in front of the camera at the best of times and I would feel very nervous. Terrified even! Wouldn't it show in the pictures?
Our all-female team is extremely experienced at dealing with this very common problem. All of our previous clients have commented that they were worried to begin with but very soon forgot their fears because they were enjoying themselves so much! The two key things to remember are i) this is a fun experience, and ii) we have airbrushing!!! Also, unlike many other more formal types of portrait photography, you will not actually be looking directly into the camera lens the majority of the time. And don't forget, you will be directed through all the poses so there's no need to worry about posture or posing.
I'd like to do this but I can't afford to go out and buy lots of expensive lingerie. What do you suggest?
If you go for Package 1, then you'll only need one or two changes of outfit. Even the plainest of underwear can be made to look superbly effective with clever use of accessories (which we have lots of!), lighting and good old black and white photography. Another tip is to borrow one of your partner's shirts, which provides one outfit and costs nothing.
What should I bring with me?
Depending on which package you're going for, you may need a number of different outfits, including some of the following items:
- Shoes and/or boots
- Lingerie
- Man's shirt, tie/bow-tie
- Jeans or shorts
- Accessories - we have lots, but you are very welcome to bring your own - how about jewellery, a feather boa, a bridal veil, hair accessories etc.
- Inspiration - if there are any pictures that you have seen in books, magazines or in the internet that you particularly like, bring them along so we can help to create the kind of look that you're after.
