Philosophy
It's our philosophy that real beauty doesn't have very much to do with our outside selves, our features, our size etc. It's more to do with how we express or project ourselves. All you have to do is think about what society considers to be beautiful, and then think about the people that you actually think are beautiful. Chances are they don't conform to society's standards.

Let's take a celebrity as an example - someone most of us consider to be jaw-droppingly stunning, and who we warm to as a person - Jennifer Aniston. There are lots of others I could think of - Uma Thurman's another good example - but we'll stick with Jennifer for now.
The picture on the right shows the Classic Beauty Proportions. This woman is considered to be beautiful - her features match the proportions laid down by the Greek philosophers and mathematicians centuries ago.
This is a candid shot of Jennifer Aniston, in natural lighting. She's at a high-profile event, so her hair and makeup are looking good.
If I was to look at her objectively and compare her to the classic beauty proportions, I would say that her eyes are a bit too close together, her upper lip is a bit thinner than it could be and her chin and jawline are a little wide / big. In interviews she complains about how her hair is very fine and that she has to really strive to keep her figure in shape. She tells of how her father used to say that her behind was so big she could serve tea off it!
But it's THAT hair, and THAT rear that men and women often love most about her. And most people I know think that she's absolutely gorgeous. And if she wears her hair a certain way, it gives the appearance of narrowing her jawline, shortening her chin and bringing the focus to her eyes.
Hers is a very warm, approachable and unconventional beauty. What's yours?
Celebs like Jennifer admit they have issues about their appearance too. But in most of the pictures you see of them, they have been professionally styled, lit, and most of the time, retouched or airbrushed, so that they look the very best that they can. You'd have to turn to a magazine like "Heat" to see how they look in everyday life, the way we generally look!
What we at The Boudoir Book offer you is this - the same chance to look the very best you can, and to learn how you can achieve this for yourself, with good posture, good styling and a newfound self-confidence.
