So what is The Boudoir Book?
According to Wikipedia, the font of all internet wisdom ...
"A boudoir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning 'to pout'.
Historically the boudoir formed part of the private suite of rooms for a lady, for bathing and dressing, adjacent to her bedchamber, ... in later periods, the boudoir was used as a private drawing room and was used for other activities, such as embroidery, or entertaining intimate acquaintances"
So, the Boudoir Book is a collection of portrait photographs showing the model as she would be in a bedroom or intimate/personal setting. It should not be confused with Glamour photography, which is sexual and provocative in a very obvious way. The Boudoir Book aims to provide a more sensitive and flattering portrait of the model which is sensual in an artistic way.
